In Spanish, the term pago means “I pay”, taken from pagar meaning to pay. In Latin, pago means “village.” To us, Pago represents our purpose: create a village where individuals and communities can connect and pay kindness forward.
Amy Pragel is passionate about modeling kindness for her daughter. She has been in FinTech for more than 15 years in Sales, Product, and Strategy. Amy founded Pago as part of her innovation project for her Design Thinking class in Stanford LEAD, a one-year corporate innovation program. Pago was accepted into the LISA Program (LEAD Incubator Start-up Accelerator), where it became a top-ten finalist in its cohort.
